The Pegasus Palmerians Continue Their Winning Streak in Cargostore Kits

Last year, Cargostore sponsored the Pegasus Palmerians – a local Essex based grassroots rugby club, with a brand new kit draped in the Cargostore yellow and blue. Since donning the new kits this season, the Palmerians have put on a wealth of impressive displays, climbing to 3rd in their league.

Kicking off 2020 with the same momentum, the Pegasus Palmerians maintained an “unbeaten in 2020” record with a hard fought 41 – 17 win at South Woodham Ferrers last weekend.

‘Andy Williams, the Palmerians Team President said: “The pitch resembled a mud bath and conditions proved difficult for both teams to play attractive rugby.  With a now familiar display of grit and determination, we dug in (literally), battled for every yard and came out on top in this war of attrition reminiscent of the battle of the Somme!”

If you look hard at the team photo below, you can just about see most of their faces and the sponsored, Cargostore kit!

The win puts the P’s in touching distance of Bancroft in 2nd place in the league, who they visit in February.
