Cargostore ex-Company Secretary Ian Hallums with Vice President, Offshore, Jacob Poot
Hallums, who started with Cargostore when the company was established in 1993 as Cargostore International Limited, rose to Company Secretary during his 25 years with the business. Hallums has had a distinguished business career holding senior management positions at Deloitte and was a tax partner at the accountancy firm, Rawlinson & Hunter.
Says company Managing Director Justin Farrington Smith:
“Ian’s contribution to Cargostore over the years should not be underestimated. Ian deserves our respect and thanks for his contribution to the company over many years.
In addition to Hallums’ service to Cargostore and his interminable hard work, he has been a loyal friend and colleague to all those who have worked alongside him. It is a great loss to see him leave the company but his outstanding contribution to the growth of the business merits his departure.
While Ian will certainly be missed at Cargostore, I know he has many other outside interests to pursue. We wish him nothing but luck in his future endeavours.”
Alan Jordan, the company’s Financial Director and Board Member, will adopt Hallum’s responsibilities within Cargostore.
