Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Offshore (DNV) and Intermodal (ISO) containers?

Containers that are DNV 2.7-1 certified have met the safety standard required for equipment to be used offshore on wind or oil and gas platforms. All of Cargostore’s offshore containers are DNV 2.7-1 certified. ISO containers are suitable for Intermodal freight transport which means they can be transported via rail, sea and road, and they are always wind and watertight. They are suitable for storage on land.
