Cargostore Supply Units Supporting COVID-19 Efforts
Cargostore Worldwide have continued to support the Dutch offshore energy sector by supplying Refrigerated containers for the storage of vital foods. Due to the pandemic, offshore cargo runs were running less frequently, meaning the DNV 2.7-1 certified 10ft Reefers were optimal for the reduced deck space.
Furthermore they supplied two 40ft ISO Dry Containers to Den Helder airport as a ‘quarantine shelter’ which acted as a sanitized area for workers returning onshore to change safely, whilst being cheaper and faster to set up than constructing a building.
Similarly in the Middle East, Cargostore continue to support existing customers in the UAEs energy sector by providing reefers and dry containers for the storage of food, medicines and other cargo at onshore base stations, where the cargo has had to be stored onshore for extended periods of time.
With container workshops still operational, bespoke modifications to ISO and DNV containers are also available for lease or hire, which can have additional shelving for equipment, lighting or even extra doors and windows.
